"Joey Schildt is an LPCC, NCC, Licensed Professional School Counselor, and Lead Neurofeedback Specialist, completing a PhD program in Marriage and Family Therapy. She specializes in crisis and trauma, and has extensive training in intimate partner violence, threat, abuse, and suicide assessment, as well as Trauma-Specific CBT, 504 and IEP planning, functional behavior work, and support for clients with affective and special needs. She works with adolescents, adults, and young children, as well as families and couples, and welcomes clients of all abilities, cultures, races, and backgrounds. She is experienced, solutions-focused, person-centered, and strongly evidence-based in her therapeutic approach. She believes strongly that therapy should feel like a positive growth experience that leads to tangible results."
